Opportunity Information: Apply for HHS 2025 ACF OHS CH 0085

The Administration for Children and Families, Office of Head Start (OHS), is planning to make approximately $70.7 million in federal funding available through about nine competitive grant opportunities across eight states: Colorado, Delaware, Louisiana, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, and Texas. These grants aim to support public or private non-profit, for-profit, community-based, and faith-based organizations in delivering Head Start and/or Early Head Start services to eligible children and families.

Organizations may apply to provide only Head Start, only Early Head Start, or both, depending on eligibility. Head Start applicants must serve families in specified service areas outlined in the forthcoming funding announcements. Entities already running Head Start programs may also expand into Early Head Start services.

Individuals and foreign entities are not eligible to apply. Faith-based organizations that meet eligibility requirements are welcome to apply and are protected under federal law from discrimination based on religious affiliation or character.

Details about funding amounts, specific service areas, and application deadlines will be available in the official funding announcement posted at https://www.acf.hhs.gov/ohs/funding. Interested applicants can also contact the OHS Operations Center at OHSgrants@koniag-gs.com for more information.
